As a community, we worship
God, encourage and support each other as we follow Jesus Christ, express God's
love in relationships of caring service, and work together to bring God's salvation
message into our world.
The
ministries and activities of CBC are directed and supported by the spiritual gifts
and passions given by God's Spirit to all believers for service.
Small groups are the best way to connect with others at CBC and learn more about following Jesus Christ. Small groups provide a setting for building relationships that deepen our faith.
Scattered Churches
During the week, Scattered Church small groups meet
in local homes or at the church for Bible study, fellowship and prayer. Visitors
and newcomers are always welcome.

Woman to Woman
Woman to Woman meets every Tuesday of the month that school is in session. We follow the school calendars for holidays and observe snow days called by local school districts.
Woman to Woman invites any woman who is seeking an opportunity to study the exciting truths of God's Word and is looking for warm friendship and fellowship. Bible teaching and small group discussions relate the Word of God to the challenges of everyday life.
Nursery care is provided for ages up to 2 and special Bible activities are offered for children 2 and up.

Prayer
Ministries
For mid-week prayer concerns, CBC uses both a telephone prayer chain and an email prayer chain to connect the church community in prayer. Please contact the church office to connect with this ministry.
The first Sunday of the month, a prayer gathering is held at CBC in lieu of adult Sunday school classes at 11:00.
A prayer ministry team meets 9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings in preparation for the 9:30 service. All are invited to join this athering in the pastor's office.
You are also invited to pray with
a member of the prayer team about individual concerns following the 9:30 service
on Sunday morning.
Prayer requests are also shared in the small
group gatherings.
Lighthouse of Prayer Meetings
Friday, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
at Community Bible Church
Friday, 6:45 pm to 8:00pm
at local home with a meal,

The Ministry of Caring assists the elders in identifying needs in the congregation and matching them to those who can meet them. The ministry focuses on five areas in particular:
- Correspondence: Keeping in touch with the congregation by mailing Sunday bulletins.
- Encouragement: Sending notes and cards to encourage members of the congregation.
- Practical Needs: Arranging support, such as meals and emergency childcare.
- Special Occasions: Organizing special events, such as bridal and baby showers.
- Prayer
: Communicating CBC prayer needs through an email list and phone chain.
