Dick Wiedenheft began serving as our pastor in the summer of 2008. Prior to that, he served for five years as senior pastor of North Delta Evangelical Free Church near Vancouver, British Columbia. Before seminary Dick spent three years doing missions work in Budapest, Hungary and three more in Washington, DC. In DC, Dick trained urban humanitarian leaders at the Congressional Hunger Center and helped start Mount Zion Community Church, a multi-ethnic church in the DC area. Dick grew up near Scranton, Pennsylvania; his interests include playing electric guitar, softball, soccer, and taekowndo, reading theology, and having fun with his wife Anne and their four homeschooled children. Dick has a DMin in discipleship and mission from Northern Seminary, an MDiv from Regent College (Vancouver, BC), and a BA in psychology from Bucknell University. He is the author of The Meaning of Missional: A Beginner's Guide to Missional Living and the Missional Church.
